- Description: Citrulline is an alpha amino acid. It is named "citrulline" because it was first extracted from watermelon. The proper amount of citrulline is very important for maintaining the health of chicken and liver, and citrulline is also helpful An important nutritional supplement for the balance of nitrogen and metabolism in the body.

- Description: As a nutritional supplement, N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) is a powerful antioxidant both in vivo and in vitro. NAC is an L-cysteine precursor that promotes glutathione biosynthesis. It directly scavenges free radicals, particularly oxygen radicals. NAC is an extremely potent antioxidant.

- Description: Isoleucine is one of the three branched-chain amino acids alongside both leucine and valine. Isoleucine can greatly increase glucose absorption and the use of glucose during exercise, but it is only moderately effective at inducing muscle protein synthesis when compared to leucine and valine.

- Description: Leucine is one of the three branched-chain amino acids, along with isoleucine and valine (BCAAs). Leucine is the most powerful amino acid stimulator of protein synthesis. Leucine levels can be sensed by cells, which then use the enzyme protein mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), a master regulator of protein synthesis, to activate protein synthesis in response. Leucine is known to activate protein synthesis, hence several human studies have been done to see if supplementary leucine added to different protein sources will increase muscle protein synthesis (MPS), especially in older persons.
